A woman pauses to admires Camille Pissarro's Pont Boieldieu in Rouen, Rainy Weather in the Art Gallery of Ontario. Pissarro was a Danish-French Impressionist and Neo-Impressionist known for his rural and urban scenes and for acting as a mentor to painters like Cezanne and Van Gogh.  Pissarro became entranced with the spirit of Rouen and how the vehicles, pedestrians, smoke and haze of an industrial city could come together to form a unique urban atmosphere.
