Studio Visit

A young woman in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City admires the 1912 painting Nasturtiums with the Painting "Dance" I by Henri Matisse.  The work depicts a scene in Matisse's studio where, beyond the tripod sculpture stand and the flowers, we can see a glimpse of the left half of his large canvas, Dance I, which presently hangs in MOMA. There is also a simpler version of this composition that hangs in the Pushkin Museum in Moscow.
